Yes. You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. With less than 24 hours’ notice, refunds are not guaranteed.

Yes. We offer both secure telehealth visits and in-office appointments. Our office is located at 5510 Old Hickory Blvd., Ste B33 Hermitage, TN 37076. Detailed instructions will be provided to help you find and access the building with ease.

Tempo Psychiatry currently offers telehealth services to residents of Tennessee and Oregon. If you live in one of these states, we’re happy to help determine whether telehealth is an appropriate option for your care during scheduling or prior to your visit.

To participate in a telehealth visit, you’ll need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, along with a reliable internet connection. We recommend choosing a quiet, private space for your appointment to ensure the best experience. If you can stream video or join a video call, you likely have everything you need.

Yes. We use HIPAA-compliant communication tools and electronic health record systems to protect your privacy. Your information is kept confidential and will never be shared without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

No. Tempo Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or feel you may be at risk of harming yourself or others, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Initial appointments for new patients are 50 minutes, allowing time for a comprehensive evaluation and discussion of your history and concerns. Follow-up appointments for established patients typically last 20–30 minutes and focus on ongoing medication management and progress.

We primarily work with teen and adult patients. If a child under 13 needs care, we are happy to provide referrals to trusted child psychiatry providers in our professional network.

No, a parent or legal guardian does not need to attend appointments; however, patients under 18 must have parental or guardian consent on file to receive care.

Yes, in certain situations, controlled substances may be clinically appropriate. While we have the authority to prescribe them when indicated, prescribing decisions are made carefully and are not guaranteed. Each situation is evaluated individually based on clinical judgment, safety, and medical appropriateness.
